Argosy University -
Argosy's doctoral programs include business administration,
educational leadership, organizational leadership, instructional
leadership, community college executive leadership, and
counseling psychology.
Boston University -
Highly respected Boston University now offers online education
doctoral degrees in both physical therapy and music.
California
School of Law -
California School of Law offers the convenience of online
education with voice over internet protocol (VOIP) which
provides for direct oral communication between students and
faculty, much like a "live" law school classroom. Instructors
using VOIP software employ the traditional question and answer
Socratic method that is the foundation of high quality legal

Capella
University:
Capella University is a leader in online and distance education
programs. Capella's greatest strength may be in its eleven (11)
well respected, high quality online doctoral (PhD and PsyD)
degree programs which include information technology (with 5
specialty options), organization and management, education,
higher education leadership, human services, public safety, and
psychology.
Chatham College:
Chatham's online education programs include a 30 credit doctoral
degree in professional occupational therapy (OTD)
Clayton College of
Natural Health:
Clayton offers seven different natural health related doctoral
degrees online; the doctor of philosophy in traditional
naturopathy, doctor of philosophy in natural health, doctor of
philosophy in holistic nutrition, doctor of natural health,
doctor of naturopathy, doctor of naturopathy for healthcare
professionals, and the doctor of naturopathic medicine
(restricted to medical doctors).
Columbia Southern
University:
Columbia Southern University offers a sixty-one (61) credit hour
online doctor of business administration (DBA) degree.
Concord
Law School:
The first online law school in the United States, Concord offers
two legal degrees via online education; a juris doctor (JD) for
students who wish to practice law, and an executive juris doctor
for those who seek a legal education with other goals in mind.
For example, nurses, hospital or clinic administrators,
paramedics, and other health care practitioners may choose
Concord's specially designed health law track within the
executive JD program to further their careers, while other
options may appeal to business or public service professionals.
Fielding Graduate
University:
Fielding Graduate University offers five online doctoral degree
programs; an EDd in educational leadership and change, a PhD in
human development, a PhD in human and organizational systems, a
PhD in media psychology, and a PhD in clinical psychology.
Jones
International University:
The first university to offer online education only and the
first online university to be granted accreditation by the North
Central Association of Colleges and Schools now offers two
doctoral programs; one in business administration, and one in
K-12 educational leadership.
Kaplan
University:
Kaplan offers two kinds of Juris Doctorate (JD) programs online.
One is for students who intend to become practicing attorneys,
the other (which allows more flexibility) is designed for
students who seek an online legal education to enhance their
knowledge, career training, and/or potential for advancement in
other professions.

Liberty University:
There are not a lot of fully accredited Christian universities
offering online doctoral degrees, but Liberty offers three; a
doctor of education degree, a doctor of ministry degree, and a
doctor of philosophy degree in counseling.
Northcentral
University:
Northcentral University may offer more doctoral degree programs
via online education than any other online university in the
United States. Some, but by no means all, of their online
doctoral degree offerings include business, computer science,
criminal justice, health care administration, homeland security,
sports administration and leadership, curriculum and teaching,
education technology management, exceptional student education,
gifted and talented education, higher education leadership,
instruction and curriculum leadership, marketing, psychology,
industrial & organizational psychology, marriage and family
therapy, and more.
University
of Florida:
The University of Florida offers a fully accredited, doctor of
pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.) via distance education. The program
is designed so working professionals may complete it, without
career interruption, in three years.
University
of Phoenix:
The mission of the University of Phoenix is to meet the needs of
working adults seeking career related education, career
advancement, and professional growth. Accredited by the Higher
Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges
and Schools, the University offers six online doctoral programs;
doctor of business administration (DBA), doctor of education in
educational leadership (Ed.D.), doctor of education in
curriculum and instruction, doctor of health administration,
doctor of management in organizational leadership, and doctor of
management in information systems and technology.
University of
Phoenix International:
Until recently, you had to be a U.S. resident to earn a doctoral
degree from the University of Phoenix. Not anymore. You can now
earn a doctoral degree online from America's largest private
university no matter where you live or where you hold
citizenship. You can begin almost immediately.
Walden
University:
Walden is both a pioneer and a leader in online education, and
one of the very first universities to achieve full accreditation
for its distance education doctoral (PhD) degree programs.
Currently,
those programs include: Ph.D. in applied management and decision
sciences, Ph.D. in public policy and administration, Doctor of
Education (Ed.D.) with a specialization in teacher leadership,
Ph.D. in education (with a general option or areas of focus
which include adult education leadership, community college
leadership, early childhood education, educational technology,
higher education, K-12 educational leadership, special
education, and self-designed study).
Also offered
online are a PhD in psychology, Ph.D. in public health, Ph.D. in
public policy and administration, PhD in health services, PhD in
human services, and PhD in human services with a concentration
in counseling.
